Linux based install hangs at the ISOLINUX boot screen

January 18th, 2013 Leave a comment Go to comments

If you ever come across a bootable linux CD or USB that just hangs at the following screen:

ISOLINUX Freezes/Hangs at Bootup

I fixed it by disabling the serial port in BIOS under Integrated Peripherals. Hopefully this helps saves someone from the amount of time wasted from burning and re-burning a bunch of CDs/DVDs, reformatting a bunch of USB drives, and hairloss.

Let me know if that works for you or if you found another fix in the comments below.

    4. The U.S. State Department PASSPORT APPLICATION has been CHANGED. Prior to Obama, it used to VERY DEFINITIVELY require &#2i80;cert2ficaTION’sଅ (of live birth) from “FOREIGN BORN” applicants; as opposed to native born applicants needed to supply a “certified” copy of their “certificATE’s” (of live birth). Let’s be clear, (before being changed), the OFFICIAL U.S. State Department Passport Application, DEFINED OBAMA AS “FOREIGN” born if his “certificaTION” of live birth is the only “legal” BC document he has.
